Gansey had no desire to let the Phantom's—Laurent's—hand go. So when Laurent released his hand Gansey frowned, a small crease folding into his brow. What..? The ring. Blinking, Gansey looked down at its glint and then pressed his hands on top of Laurent's. Slowly, he shook his head.
"No. Please, will you continue keeping it safe for me? Until... one day, when the time is right." He didn't quite know when that would be, didn't have any plan for it, but he thought it might be too much to ask the Phantom (Laurent) to keep it as a gift.
