Adam made a soft sigh as Ronan hugged close to him. He couldn't argue against this. Shifting in Ronan's arms, he kicked off his shoes, nestling back into Ronan's arms and spooning with him the way they had when they were children. He felt safe, safer than he had in years.

"I missed you," Adam murmured, sliding quickly down into sleep, breath evening out as he trusted himself to Ronan's protection.
