Laurent's very startled when Nyx suddenly intervenes. He can only assume that either Nyx saw a threat he didn't, or that Nyx has gone mad. He's inclined to trust Nyx, however, and certainly isn't about to prevent his guardsman from doing his job.

Emryn has no such compunctions. Snatching his hand back, he glares sourly at Nyx. "How dare you address me! What do you think you're doing?"
