Ronan tensed instinctively but soon relaxed, knowing it was just Adam. His mouth twitched but he didn't smile. He was, however, much calmer the rest of the way back. And after he'd stripped off his clothes and showered, he spent the rest of the night quietly talking to Adam or sitting in comfortable silence while Adam studied and Ronan daydreamed.
