No longer weak, the press of Ronan's lips was firmer. He felt warmer too. Though still far from healthy, when he kissed Adam he forgot that was the case. At first. When he shifted closer, he felt a flare of pain in his chest. Abandoning that, he settled for wrapping an arm around Adam to bring him closer. That hurt too, and Ronan almost hissed when he moved too quickly.

Objectively, he hadn't wanted to kiss Adam for a long time, but he'd done so desperately enough that it felt like a lifetime.
