Adam’s eyes locked on the zipper, fixated by the sight of Alec’s bare skin disappearing behind it. Realizing that he was staring, he pulled his eyes up with effort, only to find Alec gazing at him through those long lashes in a way that was deeply unfair. Adam’s heart stuttered, cheeks flaming as he held Alec’s eyes. He was pretty sure he was caught, because there was really no innocent way to explain why he was staring. He’d been caught staring before, but not often, and never inches away from that much bare skin.
He’d delayed too long answering the question, and it took substantial effort to remember what the question had been. “I’d like that,” he stammered, helpless and exposed.
