After a few minutes, Adam shifted so that his shoulder rested against Alec's. He only had on a thin, worn t-shirt, so he could feel the warmth of Alec's body against his shoulder, and it warmed him through to his belly.

He worked for half an hour, reading the assigned chapter, and then he leaned over to get the next book, shirt riding up as he did so. When he settled back again, he nestled a little closer against Alec's side, appreciating his warmth.
