“I took the time I needed to be sure.” Adam stepped close so that they were almost chest to chest, watching Alec’s face and smiling at the way Alec looked at him. Alec’s reassurance that he was special helped, and Adam could accept it more easily than bare flattery. “How dare you tell me you’re not the hottest guy I’ve ever seen?” Grinning a little, Adam very lightly set his hands on Alec’s waist. His heart was thudding, but this time he felt like it might overflow with happiness and affection. “Nobody else has ever turned me into a blushing wreck before. You’re a hazard and a menace.”
