"That wasn't the only reason I wanted to kiss you," Adam said, brow furrowing a little bit. He felt the instinct to defend himself, because what he wanted was for Alec to feel comfortable expressing his thoughts and feelings, not just for Alec to act the way he wanted, but he didn't want to have an argument about that, especially not so soon after their last argument.

He stayed quiet instead of explaining himself, but he let go of Alec's hand and picked at the grass around their knees instead.

"You know how to dance?" Adam's head lifted, interested and impressed. Everything he learned about Alec just seemed to make him more attractive. "I'd like that."
