Adam slowly relaxed as Alec held him. His breathing slowed, tension in his body melting, and he smiled again at Alec calling him hot. It seemed impossible that Alec thought he was attractive, even now, but the possibility soothed him. "Who's this hot boyfriend?" he asked, nuzzling softly at Alec's shoulder as he emerged from the fugue of self-doubt. "Am I gonna have to fight someone for you?"

Shyly affectionate, Adam loosened his grip on Alec, shifting slightly in his lap as he trailed soft kisses along the side of Alec's neck.
