When Adam didn't pull away, he kept running his hand along Adam's back, waiting to see how he'd react to his comments. The nuzzling gave him hope that eventually his boyfriend would start to see that he wasn't bothered by the scars, at least not in the way that Adam thought. Alec wanted to have a 'talk' with whoever had hurt Adam, but if he could control his anger over Valentine's abuse he could keep his emotions from taking over now.

"It might be sexy to watch you fight someone for me, but you're the hot boyfriend." Humming softly, he tipped his head to the side in hopes that Adam would keep kissing him. "Do you know how to fight? I could teach you so you can defend my honor from these hot boyfriend impostors."
