"I don't want to learn," Adam said, but he smiled a bit more and followed the invitation up the line of Alec's throat to the corner of his jaw, and went rogue from there to capture Alec's lips. He felt safe in Alec's arms, and somehow still wanted and accepted despite his flaws.

His kisses were soft and tentative at first, still regaining his confidence, but kissing Alec was addictive, and Adam wanted affection more than anything. His hands curled around the base of Alec's skull, holding him reverently as they kissed. Between kisses, Adam brushed the tip of his nose lightly against Alec's, playful, and then finally drew back enough to shyly meet Alec's eyes.
