Adam smiled and blushed, relaxing again with the reassurance and the idea of Alec wanting to treat him right. "Don't worry, you're much more to me than a pillow," he said, kissing Alec's nose. "You're a mattress."

Grinning playfully, Adam surged forward and kissed him, sliding his tongue into Alec's mouth to steal his retort and lingering in the kiss, shifting very slightly against Alec to enjoy the feeling of Alec's body beneath his own.

"I could never be disappointed in you," Adam said, when he finally let Alec breathe again. He cupped his hand against Alec's cheek, studying his eyes. "Maybe angry and frustrated sometimes. But you've never disappointed me."
