Adam sat beside him, curling one arm around Ronan's head so that when he fell back onto the mattress, he pulled Ronan down with him.

Tangling close, he tucked his head against Ronan's throat again, winding their legs together and clinging to him. Ronan was his. He'd always known that Ronan was his, always intended it, but he hadn't ever really believed it to be true.

He held Ronan close, focused on Ronan's breath and heartbeat, until a rap at the door made him pull away, standing upright and to one side, eyes averted like an obedient valet.
