Ashley woke halfway as he felt himself lifted in strong arms and carried to the bed. Sleepy but delighted, he hugged an arm around Alucard's neck, making a soft sound of pleasure at being so close to him. As he settled into the soft sheets--clean sheets, another luxury he hadn't had in months--he sighed, already drifting back to sleep.

But then the strong arms withdrew from him and Ashley reached out with a whimper, fingers securing loosely around Alucard's wrist. He tugged. "Stay with me. Please."

For a creature who had seemed so quiet, recluse and reserved Alucard now beamed with a new found energy and confidence. He stood tall and walked with a gait that made the hooligans and drunkards part in the street, scrambling to make way for the couple as they leisurely sauntered back to their temporary home. He felt like a new man, high on the sweetest and strongest of drugs and basking in the life it brought him. His golden eyes, vivid and luminous, occasionally treated Ashley to a sidelong glance, allowing him to see the corner of his lips smile in an almost eerie, knowing smile.

Once back at the hotel Alucard guided his lover back to their room and, effortless, opened the door to their room (notably, without the key). The door swung silently on its hinges and the dhampire led Ashley into the room. He hadn't said a word in their return but his aura was one of satisfaction and contentment.

When the two of them were inside, the door seemed to close (and lock) itself. "Well?" He spoke, tone hushed and deep and dripping with desire.

Ashley smiled up at him in response, radiant with pleasure. He slid his arms around Alucard's neck, pressing close to his now much warmer lover. "Fuck me," he purred, all happy wickedness as he leaned up to claim a kiss from his beloved.

He could taste remnants of blood on Alucard's mouth, and the new strength and vigor in Alucard's arms made Ashley's blood sing with yearning.

Greedy and impatient, one of his hands slid down, starting to fumble with Alucard's clothing so that he could get to the smooth skin beneath.

"You're so much more beautiful," Ashley panted, between kisses, pausing for a moment to stare. His lips were curved in a happy grin, utterly besotted with his monster.
