Alec couldn't remember anyone reacting to him the way Adam did. Even with the attraction between them, he'd always been at odds with Magnus. There had always been walls separating them. Until now Alec had never allowed himself to be so close to someone he liked. The nervous flutter in his chest he felt when he realized how happy Adam was because Alec was touching him was something new.
