Ashley Raventon had known for his entire life that his brother was the center of the world. As much as Ashley liked the attention of others, it was always his brother he sought when he was hurt or upset. If there was anything in the world that he desired, Ashley went to his brother to coax and wheedle and beg until he got his desires.

Ashley had known, too, when he grew old enough to have an interest in men and women, that none of them compared to his brother. None of them were as tall, as handsome, as intelligent, as confident. And though Ashley enjoyed thoroughly a number of dalliances as he was finding out his tastes and temperament, they all left him feeling lonely, and he often preferred to spend his evenings in his brother's study, reading a book until he got bored, and then monopolizing Arkady's attention until he was tired.

It was not until he was nineteen that he realized that he might be able to consolidate his interests. Morality and legality had never bothered the Raventons much, Ashley least of all, and Ashley found himself achingly bored of everyone in the world but his brother.

"Evening, Arkady," Ashley said, having decided upon what he wanted but not yet how to get it. He strode boldly into his brother's study, long red hair loose down his back. His clothing was impeccably fashionable, with tight-fitting breeches and a loose white shirt, his vest and jacket somewhere misplaced.

Leaning forward across his brother's desk, Ashley propped his elbows on the desk and snagged one of the papers in front of his brother, curious to see what business or scholarship occupied Arkady's attention tonight.

"Ashley..." Arkady whispered, stilling his hand. "You're trying to lead me down the path of temptation, aren't you?" It was a rather silly question, given what kind of people the brothers were. It wasn't as if either of them hadn't had dalliances with other people, but in the end that was all they were. Just flings. The one constant was each other.

Ashley laughed, soft wand wicked, because there wasn't any reprimand in the question, and even if there had been he would have disregarded it. "Maybe I am. Why not?" He lifted his head slightly, nose brushing the underside of Arkady's jaw before his teeth caught his brother's earlobe.

"Because you're my brother, perhaps?" Arkady replied, even as he allowed the touches. He had dreamed of having such a moment with his brother, ever since he'd come into his beauty. "It wouldn't be appropriate. I'm also quite sure it's sinful." Not that Ashley would care about that.

"And were I not your brother?" Ashley asked, shifting so that he could straddle Arkady's lap instead. He slid his arms up around Arkady's shoulders, smiling at him with low-lidded eyes. "Would you desire me then?"

"Perhaps," Arkady admitted, his hands resting on Ashley's waist. He could lose himself in those beautiful eyes. Arkady could feel his groin stirring at Ashley's nearness. "You always were the beautiful one out of the two of us."

Ashley's smile was all wicked promise, licking his lips once and then tilting his head to press a wet kiss to the side of Arkady's throat. "Do you desire me?" he asked, nipping lightly at the skin there without a hint of shame.

"Ashley..." Arkady couldn't help but tilt his head back and let a silent moan pass through his lips. A small tent was forming in his pants by now. "What if I did?"

Ashley laughed, leaning back and giving Arkady a sharp look that was all sass. "Well, then, I think you'd have to tell me, if you ever wanted to fuck me."

Arkady bit his lip, locking eyes with Ashley. His brother was so beautiful, but was this right? "To tell you the truth, I've wanted to for some time. Ever since you became a man." His hand stroked Ashley's cheek.

Ashley's eyes widened with delight, and he pressed close against Arkady, catching his brother's lips in a kiss. He sighed into it, greedy for Arkady and thrilled from head to toe that his beloved Arkady wanted him.

Arkady returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around Ashley. This was vulgar, and yet he couldn't bring himself to feel ashamed. Not when this was finally happening. "You realize I might not have anything to use for slick in here?"

"No?" Ashley said, and laughed. "I'm surprised at you." Sliding off Arkady's lap, Ashley gave him a coy grin over his shoulder. "I'll go get some. Unless you wanted to lick me open?"

"Believe it or not, dear brother, but this is a work area and not a room at a brothel," Arkady replied. "Go retrieve some, please. Don't be long." He kissed Ashley again.

"I think you ought to start keeping oil in here," Ashley said, taking his time leaving the room to give Arkady plenty of time to admire his ass. Once he was through the door, though, he did hurry. Darting down the hall to his room, he grabbed a vial of perfumed oil that he liked for this purpose, and then darted back. Out of breath and flushed when he tumbled back through the door, Ashley paused in the doorway and gave him a shy, playful grin.

"Keep this up, and I may have to," Arkady kept his eyes on Ashley the whole time as he left. He stripped off his dress vest and set it aside, leaving him in his buttoned-up shirt and black pants. By the time his brother returned, Arkady had cleared off the desk. No need to scatter his papers and writing utensils.

"That was quick," He beckoned Ashley to come back over.

Nervous but excited, Ashley went to him, setting the vial of oil down on the desk and stepping close. His hands went to Arkady's hips, fingers curling around the fabric of Arkady's shirt as he looked up at his brother's eyes, dark as his own.

Arkady smiled at Ashley, his hands sliding under his shirt to stroke the skin underneath. As he rubbed circles on Ashley's waist and back, he leaned down to kiss his brother's neck softly.

He only pulled his lips away to slide Ashley's shirt off, gazing as his perfect torso. "Beautiful..."

Ashley made a pleased sound at the kiss, returning it eagerly and only letting go so that he could lift his arms to let Arkady remove his shirt.

He smiled at the praise, basking in it, and took a step back to lean against the edge of the desk. Licking his lips, Ashley watched him closely, waiting obediently for instruction.

Arkady's eyes focused on those lips, as he removed his own shirt. He kissed Ashley again, rubbing their chests together and moaning at the feeling of the contact of skin.

He loosened Ashley's pants so he could get those off too, sliding them down his hips. "I want you naked."

"Yes, Arkady," Ashley murmured, stripping down the rest of the way and then stepping close, starting to unfasten Arkady's trousers. Wicked and devoted, he watched Arkady's eyes, breaking his gaze only to steal kisses.

Arkady took a moment to admire Ashley's nude form, finally able to appreciate his brother's beauty. His brother was so flawless, so perfect, like a finely crafted sculpture.

Once they were both naked, he lifted Ashley up so he was sitting on the desk. He kissed Ashley's bare shoulders as he took the vial of oil to slick up his fingers. "Lean back."

Grinning widely, Ashley obeyed, leaning back onto his elbows. He reached out with his legs, tangling them loosely around Arkady and trying to pull him in closer. "Arkady."

"Ashley..." Arkady coated his fingers in oil and slid the hand between Ashley's legs, teasing his entrance. "I've wanted this for a long time."

He slid a finger inside Ashley, watching his brother's face the whole time. The last thing he wanted was to hurt his lover.

Ashley didn't look away, utterly entranced. His lips parted on a gasp as Arkady touched him. Moaning loud as Arkady's finger pushed inside of him, Ashley arched against the desk, head falling back and hair spilling over the wooden surface around him.

Arkady smiled at the sight of Ashley's pleasure, adding another finger, which he began to thrust into his brother. "You are mine." Even if Ashley had other lovers, as far as Arkday was concerned, Ashley was his.

His free hand ran through the strands of his brother's hair. The fingers within Ashley began to scissor.
