Laurent grinned at the words, giving him a warm kiss in response and then laying a finger across Gansey's lips. He had some idea of how crazy that was going to make Gansey, being forbidden to touch or to speak, but he wanted Gansey to feel utterly in his power, to belong absolutely to Laurent.

He pulled off his own shirt as well, letting Gansey look his fill, at least.

Nuzzling at Gansey's jaw, Laurent kissed at his throat, sliding his hands up to curl around both sides of Gansey's neck. He could feel Gansey's pulse against his hands, and he smiled, watching Gansey's eyes and just feeling the connection that they shared, the love and trust that bound them together.

Letting go, Laurent picked up the collar. This one was covered with oak leaves and acorns, and Laurent had thought it suited to Gansey, for his love of the woods.

He checked Gansey's eyes frequently, maintaining the connection and checking in with him. Unlatching the collar, Laurent curled it around Gansey's neck. He smiled as he did so, liking the sight of it. Taking his time, Laurent kissed Gansey's lips briefly, checking his expression again before he fastened the latch.

It was absolutely going to drive him crazy. How could it not, when looking up at such a lovely image? He understood the finger on his lips and complied, biting his lip to keep from speaking, fingers still knotting into the sheets. It was in his nature to respond somehow, or try to take over; he had never allowed anyone to forbid him from doing anything. Which made the experience far more intimate than he would have expected, and they had just barely started.

The kisses to his throat made his pulse quicken as his body responded almost instantly, already having become accustomed to his lover, knowing where things were likely headed. Their eyes met and Gansey studied the lovely color of Laurent's. Searched for flecks of different color among blue, admired how his eyelashes framed and dipped.

So very different than his lover's hands, the collar felt almost cool against his throat. Having it there was actually rather pleasant. Even though he felt the restriction, it was Laurent's restriction, and knowing that the other man had chosen it for him made it even better. There was only a brief moment when a knot in his belly flipped at the thought of losing control—he closed his eyes and bit the inside of his mouth at that—but managed to calm his nerves. This was nothing like being trapped. Nothing like being paralyzed.

Opening his eyes again, he smiled when he saw Laurent smile. The expression on his face was expectant: Can I touch now? Now? How about now? as he tried so very hard to wait until he was given permission. It wasn't easy.

Watching closely, Laurent saw the moment of hesitation or tension, and he saw the restless hope within Gansey's smile. Like an energetic puppy, eager to please but only barely holding himself in check.

Lifting Gansey's hands, Laurent put them on his waist, hugging his arms tight around Gansey's shoulders to embrace him, so that they could both touch and be touched while they reassessed. "Are you okay?" he murmured, nuzzling gently at Gansey and releasing the tension and vulnerability between them while they hugged. "We don't have to do this, and we don't have to do things like this."

There were plenty of other things that they could try, similar and different. Laurent kissed the side of Gansey's throat, just above the collar, relishing the warmth and strength of him.

The affectionate gestures worked wonders. Hands steady on Laurent's hips, Gansey leaned into the hug, closing his eyes as he listened to the sound of Laurent's breathing.

"I'm good," he answered softly, still nuzzling his face against Laurent's shoulder. "Excellent, even. I don't want to stop." It was different but it wasn't bad. Were it with someone else he might have said that he had enough, that he didn't want to give up any more, but with Laurent it was different. Laurent wasn't anyone else. Gansey longed for there to be strong trust between them. There already was, but there could still be more. Laurent had fought through his own anxieties for Gansey. Love was a two way street—Gansey wanted to do the same. Ever since he'd been stung and left immobile, trapped in the dark, in a cramped space... those things made him nervous. Together, maybe he could really begin to heal from that. He promised his mother that he was okay now—but he knew himself better than that.

"I want to give you everything I am. I want to be yours, completely."

"I love you so much," Laurent told him, hugging tight for a moment longer before he drew back to watch Gansey's eyes again. He caught Gansey's hands, kissing his knuckles. "We can pause at any moment. I won't be upset in the least if you need to stop or talk or hug me. I want you comfortable and safe, and if you decide you don't like it this way, there are plenty of other things we can do with the collar. Or if we decide that I'm more suited to collars, that's fine too." Grinning briefly, Laurent gave him a sweet kiss then gently guided Gansey's hands back to the bed. He didn't press them down this time, letting Gansey decide where to put his hands. "Ready?"

"I know I'm always safe with you."

It was such a freeing thing to say. Growing up, he'd been taught that while he had to put on airs of trust, that the only people he could trust were Helen and his parents. Especially after the incident; his mother had ingrained that in him. Worried, she cautioned him about his willingness to give people chances. No, he didn't try to trust people because he was naive. He tried to trust people because he wanted to. But there was always the knowledge that he needed to keep sharp.

With Laurent, it felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. If one day he was betrayed by his lover, he wouldn't even be angry. He would rather love than be lonely.

"Yes." He liked it much better when there weren't such strict orders on what to do with his hands. Settling on curling his fingers inward and resting his knuckles back on the bed, leaning back so that Laurent could continue to explore his body as much as he pleased.

"Good." Eyes glittering with fond playfulness as Laurent considered his lover and how handsome he looked in the collar, Laurent hooked a finger under the front of it, pulling him forward with a firm, careful grip, able to feel every movement of Gansey's throat against his knuckle. "You're mine," he said, he said, eyes afire with possessiveness. "Only mine," he repeated, pulling a little bit more so that Gansey would be forced to arch his neck. He slid his free hand into Gansey's hair, grip tight, and he tipped Gansey's head back a little farther as he pulled him into a kiss, heated and yearning.

When Gansey swallowed, he could feel his adam's apple shift against the collar. The hooked finger tugged him in and he was very aware of it then, more than before, and not in a bad way. It was no longer a cool piece of leather; it was warm, and he associated it with Laurent, rather than any kind of restraint.

"—Nn..."

He moaned into the kiss, a noise of agreement and delight. It felt marvelous, having his hair gripped so tightly, being manhandled by a demanding, possessive lover. One hand rose and then froze, so ready to grab Laurent closer, but he willed it back down because he hadn't been told he could. Since kissing was clearly allowed he threw himself into that, returning with just as much heat and longing. Lips parted, tasting as much of his lover that he could, Gansey was just as possessive, wanting everything he could get.

Curious as to where Laurent might draw a line, if any, Gansey playfully bit on the other man's lower lip and tugged, looking up from beneath his eyelashes.

Laurent let him have as much as he wanted in the kiss, more than happy to let Gansey have a little bit of lead in that aspect, since Laurent's grip was utterly controlling in every other way.

Smirking fondly once Gansey released his lip, Laurent nipped at Gansey's mouth in return, brushing their noses for a moment and then turning his face away. He reached for the leash, hooking it onto the loop on the front of the collar. Keeping an eye on Gansey again to make sure he was okay with everything, Laurent looped the leash around his hand and grasped it near the middle, so that when he leaned back slightly, the leash was taut between them.

His gaze was steady on Gansey's face, wanting to make sure.

The leash didn't give him any pause. In fact, it almost made him laugh—to think, the heir to the throne would be on a leash. Even if it was in the bedroom. The thought gave him a stupid, boyish grin, and his eyes glittered as he glanced from the strip of leather tight between them to Laurent's hand, up along his arm and then his face.

He so wanted to make a comment and the way his dimple pressed beneath his eye said so, but he remained quiet, arching his brow and pressing his fingers forward on the bed. Not unlike a dog just waiting to hear the word Go. Really, the fact that he wasn't supposed to behave poorly just made him want to try all the more.

Laurent grinned at that face, all the more pleased by Gansey's mischief and enthusiasm. He felt more relaxed now, confident that Gansey was enjoying himself. He could feel the trust between them just as taut as that leash, with Gansey like a spirited young horse just burning to be given his head.

Giving him a little more slack, Laurent moved back off his lap, standing up and putting enough tension on the leash to be clear that he wanted Gansey up as well.

"Undress," he commanded, voice soft but eyes full of challenge, tempting Gansey to resist and yet trusting absolutely that Gansey would obey.

And tempting it was. Not that he would resist outright; he had more class than that.

Moving as the leash commanded, Gansey stood and stretched with leisure, knowing full well how it made his muscles stretch and flex in an attractive way. Especially since he was already shirtless and his pants were slung low across his hips.

Laurent had said undress. Not undress quickly. So with a little bit of a smirk he slowly reached down.... and bent his knee, so he could oh so slowly tug off one sock. Grabbing the material and dragging with fascination. When the first sock was finally dropped to the floor he moved into the next, still taking his sweet time about it.

Amused by this process, Laurent cocked his hip, watching the way Gansey's muscles shifted as he moved, watching the playful and wicked smirk on Gansey's lips.

They had all night. Laurent wasn't in any hurry, and the pleasure of seeing Gansey like this was well worth an extra measure of patience.

He waited, perfectly calm, watching Gansey with low-lidded eyes and a smirk.

Second sock gone, he continued in the same vein of slowly undoing the strings of his trousers, taking great care as he plucked each one free. It was almost a little bit of a show; the times before they had always been fairly hurried in disrobing. There was something to be said for appreciating the removal of clothes.

Pushing his thumbs into the waist of his pants, he slipped them down so that they fell around his knees, and he stepped out of them. That was the last of his clothing. Stretching again and then resting his hands on his hips, he nodded his chin up, awaiting orders with just a touch of cockiness.

Laurent increased the tension on the leash, so that Gansey would have to either lean or step forward. He liked the cockiness, and he was more than willing to test his own strength of will against Gansey's, as long as it served to only strengthen the affection between them. "Now me," he murmured, waiting to see how Gansey would obey that one.

Rather than lean, he stepped closer. Any reason to be closer.

Undress him? That struck Gansey as permission to touch. Tilting his head, he thought for a moment, considering how exactly he'd like to go about that particular request. Definitely not slow.

Closing the distance between them, he reached out to smooth his hands against Laurent's chest, over his shirt. As he helped his lover out of it, Gansey made sure to touch far more than was actually necessary. Grazing fingers along Laurent's ribs while pushing the fabric up, eyes flicking up and down in a meaningful was as he soaked up every inch.

Laurent's trousers got the same treatment. Extra handsy, and smiling as he helped his lover out of them.

"I'll have to consider tying your hands next time," Laurent teased, amused by Gansey's constant pushing of boundaries.

Stepping out of his trousers, Laurent dropped the leash to its full length, flicking it over his shoulder as he turned and walked over to the bedside table. He picked up the bottle of oil they'd been using, and then led Gansey over to the wall. He leaned back against it, giving Gansey a coy smirk and offering him the bottle, not yet informing him as to what he would be doing with it.

He followed—hell, he would have followed without the leash, constantly wanting to be near his lover. It almost made the leash unnecessary, but he didn't mind having Laurent lead him around.

Taking the bottle in his hand, he twirled it between his fingers, regarding it with curiosity before looking back up at the other man. He had an idea where things might lead—or where he would lead them, having oil on hand, but he wasn't sure if that was what Laurent was angling for.

The wall was a curious addition. Arching a brow once more, he ran his tongue over his bottom lip absentmindedly while he broke the bottle open. Waiting, to see if things were headed where he thought.

Laurent turned around for him, confident and lovely in his nudity, and braced one arm against the wall, bending and spreading his legs partway. With his other hand, he pulled the leash over his shoulder and tightened it, drawing it steadily forward so that Gansey would be forced to bend over him, with their faces inches apart. Then he glanced over his shoulder at Gansey and smirked, relishing in the odd mixture of power and vulnerability that he felt in this position, with Gansey on a leash. "Go on. Finger me."

Gods, it was an excellent view. The bed didn't afford such luxury. It was enough to make him pause as he admired Laurent's lovely shape. Slender, pale, only spoiled by the scattering of marks in various places that Gansey left behind in earlier trysts.

He didn't get to admire long because the leash shorted the distance between them. So he settled on snaking an arm around the other man's waist, pressing his body up close and resting his chin on Laurent's shoulder.

Deftly, he turned the bottle upside down in his hand and allowed what was left of the oil inside to drip all over his palm. Then he let it roll away, done with it. They would have to get more.

Nuzzling his face against the back of Laurent's neck, Gansey slid his free hand up between Laurent's legs. Starting with the tip of his index finger, he circled Laurent's hole, gently teasing before he rubbed the pad of his finger down to give more satisfying pressure.

Having Gansey against his back had felt wonderful. He'd intended, expected, that Gansey would keep a little bit of distance, keeping the leash taut between them, but being embraced by Gansey felt utterly exquisite. Laurent kept the leash tight to keep him there.

"You're mine," Laurent reminded him, with a possessive little tug to the leash.

He rocked his hips back against the touch, soothed and aroused by it and eager for more.

Gansey was more than pleased to give. He worked his finger more thoroughly as he made a soft hum of agreement—he belonged to Laurent—and grazed the tip of his tongue up along the back of his lover's neck. Pressing a kiss, taking a small bite and sucking.

Around Laurent's waist, Gansey's arm held tight, fingers skimming the soft region of belly. There was no part of Laurent that he didn't delight in; he wanted to map every contour of his body, lay an x upon each spot that proved to be particularly sensitive.

Against the back of Laurent's thigh, Gansey's cock twitched, taking a sharp interest in what was happening. Exhaling sharply, he couldn't help grinding his hips down to try and ease his beginning erection.

Laurent gasped as Gansey's finger slid into him, feeling a sharp bite of soreness from his muscles. "I'm fine," he said, taking a breath and feeling his cheeks heat. "More sore than I expected. feels good, you working me open like that. Don't stop."

Sighing with contentment as Gansey's fingers kept working, Laurent laughed at the feeling of Gansey's hips grinding against him. "Careful," he warned, playful and wicked, smirk widening. Reaching back, he trailed the end of the leash up Gansey's thigh. "You only get to come once tonight, and not before I give permission. Best to pace yourself."

Gansey made a short noise that sounded very much like what? when he heard that. How cold, Laurent. The warning did make him reconsider pressing up against his lover so much, good as it felt. So he focused on working in another finger, taking care, even though Laurent had said it was fine. They'd gone a few rounds the night before so soreness was to be expected.

If he couldn't work out some pent up aggression by grinding he'd work it out with his mouth. Skimming his teeth along Laurent's neck, shoulders, he nipped and tugged. And, curiously, he bit Laurent's ear, tugging on it with his teeth and sucking.

Laurent laughed at Gansey's grumbling and bites, which laughter quickly turned into a moan and ended at a whimper as Gansey bit at him. "Gansey," he said, laughing and moaning as Gansey tugged at his earlobe. "Gansey!"

Turning around so he could lean back against the wall, Laurent watched him with a fond smile. "You can talk now. The idea behind you not talking was to increase the intensity and trust of our non-verbal communication." Sliding his arms up around Gansey's neck, Laurent pulled him in closer. "But you biting at me like that makes me want to yield, which is... a new feeling for me. I like it, but it kind of defeats the purpose of me having you on a leash."
